The short answer

Can I Book Boxing Before Work?

Yes. Private early morning sessions are available by arrangement. If you want to train at 5am or any time before 6:30am, choose online coaching. In-person London sessions start from 6:30am, subject to your postcode, a suitable location and Paul’s availability.

This is individual coaching, rather than a scheduled drop-in “5am Club” class. Send your preferred days, start time and whether you want online or in-person training.

Train without the journey

Online Boxing Before 6:30am

A live online session lets you train at home before commuting or starting work. Paul watches your movement and gives feedback on stance, guard, footwork and combinations. Early starts, including 5am, must be agreed in advance.

What you can practise

Shadowboxing, movement, defensive drills and suitable bodyweight conditioning. A punchbag is optional; you do not need one to work on the fundamentals.

Set up your space

Use a stable internet connection and position your camera so Paul can see your whole body. Leave clear space around you, wear suitable training shoes and have water nearby.

Keep the morning practical

Tell Paul about limited space or noise restrictions. The session can be planned around controlled movement rather than assuming you can skip, jump or hit a bag at dawn.

In-Person Boxing Before Work

Train with Paul at a suitable home, private gym, workplace space or agreed outdoor location from 6:30am onwards. Private padwork combines technical coaching with fitness work suited to your experience.

Send your postcode and the time you need to finish. Venue permission, opening hours, travel and morning availability need to be confirmed before booking. For outdoor sessions, light, weather and safe access also matter.

At home or nearby

A suitable home or local training space can reduce travel before work. Paul confirms that there is enough room for the planned session.

Near your workplace

An approved office gym or private space may suit your commute. Any access arrangements or venue charges should be agreed beforehand.

Technique first, fitness alongside it

What Happens in a Morning Session?

You do not need boxing experience to start. Paul adjusts the pace and drills to your level, with no sparring required. A morning session includes a gradual warm-up rather than going straight into hard rounds.

Your questions answered

Early Morning Boxing FAQs

Can I book an in-person session at 5am?

No. Sessions before 6:30am are online only. In-person London sessions can be arranged from 6:30am onwards, subject to location and availability.

Is this a group 5am Club class?

No. This page is for private coaching with Paul. There is no drop-in group timetable; your session time is agreed directly.

Can a complete beginner train early in the morning?

Yes. Coaching starts at your level with stance, movement and basic punches. You do not need to be fit already or take part in sparring.

Do I need a punchbag for online boxing?

No. You can work on shadowboxing, footwork and conditioning without a bag. You need a clear training space and a camera position that shows your full body.

Which time zone applies to online sessions?

All times shown are London local time, including seasonal clock changes. If you are outside the UK, confirm your local start time with Paul before booking.

Can I reserve the same time each week?

Ask Paul about a regular slot. Availability depends on his diary, and in-person sessions also depend on location and travel.

What if I need to cancel?

Give at least 24 hours’ notice. Sessions cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice, or missed without notice, are charged or deducted from your package.

How do I book my first morning session?

Send your preferred days, start time, training goal and whether you want online or in-person coaching. For an in-person session, include your postcode and proposed venue.
