Private Boxing Training Across South London
Boxing personal training in South London means the session is built around you: your experience, fitness, goals, location and schedule. Most clients start with technical non-contact boxing—stance, footwork, padwork, defence and conditioning—and progress at a pace that suits them.
If you want the wider London service rather than a South London location page, use my one-to-one boxing London page.

Where I Train Clients Across South London
I travel across South London for private one-to-one sessions. For Clapham, Battersea, Wandsworth and Tooting/Balham, use the dedicated local pages below for more specific information about training in those areas.
Mobile Boxing Coaching: Home, Park, Office or Private Space
You do not need to travel to a boxing gym. I bring pads and the core training equipment to you, and we choose a practical location that suits the session.
Parks
Open space works well for padwork, footwork, shadowboxing and conditioning when weather and ground conditions are suitable.
Homes
Gardens, terraces, larger rooms and residential gyms can work well for private technical and fitness sessions.
Offices
Some clients train around work using office gyms, private courtyards or suitable nearby outdoor spaces.
Private Gyms
If you already have access to a private or residential gym, sessions can often be delivered there with permission.
There is no fixed template for every client, but sessions usually combine technical boxing with fitness and movement work appropriate to your level.

Fitness Clients
Use technical boxing as the core of a challenging fitness session rather than doing random circuits.

Private 1-to-1 Boxing vs Group Classes

Group Class
Private 1-to-1
Shared coaching attention

Fixed group pace
Your pace and progression
Fixed venue and timetable
Flexible mobile locations

South London Boxing Training Prices
Pricing depends on how you book. Equipment for the coached boxing session is provided.
For most beginners and fitness clients, one or two coached sessions per week can work well. The best frequency depends on your goals, budget, recovery and what other training you already do.
Consistency matters more than cramming sessions together. A regular weekly slot gives you time to practise, recover and return with something specific to improve.

BSc (Hons) Sport Science
Advanced Personal Trainer
25+ years coaching
My coaching has been featured by Women’s Health UK and HELLO! Magazine. A historical Daily Express feature by Duncan Craig also covered a Boxing Day training session with me in Hyde Park.
“One session with Paul was worth ten training in that altar of self-deception — the gym.”
Is private boxing training suitable for complete beginners?
Yes. Many clients begin with no boxing experience. We start with stance, guard, movement and basic punches before progressing to combinations and more demanding padwork.
Which parts of South London do you cover?
I work across South London, including Clapham, Battersea, Wandsworth, Brixton, Stockwell, Herne Hill, Balham, Tooting, Streatham, Vauxhall and Kennington, subject to practical travel and location arrangements.
Can you come to my home or apartment gym?
Often, yes. Gardens, terraces, residential gyms and suitable indoor spaces can work well. We can discuss the space before booking.
How much is a private boxing session in South London?
A single one-to-one session is £95. Ten sessions are £850 and twenty sessions are £1,500, equivalent to £85 and £75 per session respectively.
Do I need my own boxing gloves?
No. I bring the main training equipment needed for the session. If you decide to buy your own gloves later, I can advise on an appropriate option.
Can two people train together?
Yes. Pairs sessions are available where both clients can train safely and receive useful coaching attention.
Do you offer boxing classes in South London?
My main service is private one-to-one and pairs coaching rather than a fixed weekly group class. If you specifically want classes, see the separate Boxing Classes London page.
Can you help with white-collar boxing preparation?
Yes. Training can be structured around your event date, current level, conditioning and technical needs, including preparation for controlled sparring where appropriate.
Can boxing help with stress?
Many clients find the concentration and physical activity useful as a way to switch off from work and everyday pressure. Boxing training is not a treatment for a mental health condition, but it can be an enjoyable form of structured exercise.
