Quick answer
What results have Boxing Trainer London clients achieved?
Published case studies include improved fitness and waist measurements, a successful first white-collar bout, a return to padwork after wrist surgery and medical clearance, postnatal progress, better boxing technique and long-term gains in confidence and routine. The right result depends on the client's starting point, goal, attendance, wider activity, nutrition, recovery and any health limitations.

Three success stories at a glance
These stories have different starting points and definitions of success. Each summary links to the full account, where the training context, limitations and longer explanation remain available.
Adapted training · approximately two years
Scott: fitness with back arthritis
When running was impossible and walking could hurt, Scott used controlled padwork, TRX strength work and progressive core training once or twice a week.
Measured: approximately 12lb lost and about two inches from his waist.
Reported: better fitness, less back pain and fewer episodes of his back seizing.
Boxing did not cure Scott's arthritis. The programme was adapted around him and was not medical treatment.
Dan was 40, worked full-time in the City and had no previous fight experience. His programme covered technique, footwork, defence, padwork, conditioning, strength and fight-night preparation.
Starting point: complete fight beginner preparing for a white-collar event.
Documented result: Dan won his first white-collar boxing match.
A bout outcome cannot be guaranteed. Event participation, contact training and sparring require an appropriate boxing pathway.
After university, J wanted more than a generic gym plan. Private boxing gave him scheduled coaching, accountability and a skill-based reason to keep training.
Measured: nearly 20kg lost, around six inches from his waist and zero to more than ten pull-ups.
Long term: he built a career, his own home and a lasting training habit.
The title reflects J's description of his experience. Boxing was one source of structure and momentum, not a claim that it solves every life problem.

Return to training · 12 weeks
John's return after wrist surgery
Following medical clearance, John progressed from lower-body and core work to grip loading and controlled padwork after a broken wrist and surgery with a plate.
Published outcome: returned to full padwork at 12 weeks.
Predictable sessions, gradual progression and a consistent coach helped Patrick build a routine around movement, padwork and achievable training goals.
Family-reported outcome: more confidence, purpose and control, alongside starting university.
Results note: these are individual stories, not a forecast of your result. Weight and measurement changes depend heavily on nutrition, total activity and starting point. Injury, postnatal and wellbeing case studies describe fitness coaching, not diagnosis or medical treatment. Seek appropriate medical advice or clearance where relevant.

Coverage you can check
Women's Health covered Geri Horner's boxing and strength work with Paul. HELLO! also referenced their training. Both links lead to the publishers' articles rather than copied coverage.
“One session with Paul was worth ten training in that altar of self-deception—the gym.”

Common questions
Boxing Trainer London success stories FAQs
Are these real Boxing Trainer London clients?
The page brings together published Boxing Trainer London case studies, public reviews and existing client testimonials. Some names are changed or shortened for privacy, and that is stated where relevant.
Are the results guaranteed?
No. They are individual outcomes. Progress changes with starting point, attendance, effort, nutrition, sleep, total activity, recovery and health. Paul does not promise a particular weight, measurement, timescale or bout result.
Can a complete beginner train with Paul?
Yes. Many clients start with no boxing experience. Private sessions can begin with stance, guard, footwork, straight punches and manageable pad rounds. Sparring is not required for fitness or technique coaching.
Can Paul work around an injury or medical condition?
Training can sometimes be adapted, but Paul is a coach rather than a clinician. Disclose relevant conditions and symptoms, follow your healthcare professional's advice and obtain clearance where appropriate. Acute or unexplained symptoms require medical assessment.
Can boxing help with weight loss?
Boxing can contribute meaningful activity, conditioning and an enjoyable routine. Fat loss still depends on energy balance across time, so nutrition and total activity matter. Read the dedicated weight-loss guide for the full explanation.
Does Paul prepare clients for white-collar boxing?
Yes. Dan's case study documents a 12-week first-bout preparation. Contact, sparring and competition require appropriate coaching, medical and event safeguards; private padwork alone is not a substitute for that pathway.
Where can private sessions take place?
At a suitable home, residential gym, office, park, hotel gym or private space, subject to safety, permission, access, location and availability. Boxing Trainer London is mobile and appointment-only, not a public drop-in gym.
How much is 1-to-1 boxing coaching?
Current in-person sessions are £75–£95 depending on the arrangement. Live online 1-to-1 coaching is £65. Confirm the location, format, current fee and any venue cost before booking.
Which details should I send when enquiring?
Send your main goal, postcode or online preference, current boxing or exercise experience, relevant injuries or limitations and two or three possible days or times. Paul can then confirm what is practical.
